American Law Society Recognizes Richard A. Wunderlich

The American Law Society is proud to announce Richard A. Wunderlich was accepted as a new member among America’s Top Lawyers by the American Law Society Board. American Law Society is an invitation-only platform comprised of verified lawyers that demonstrate a professional history of excellence and also possess positive ethical qualities of an esteemed lawyer.
Mr. Wunderlich is a member of the St. Louis, Missouri, Lewis & Rice LLC firm, established in 1909. His practice areas are in insurance, media & communications, products liability, information technology, commercial litigation and, counseling clients. In litigation matters, Mr. Wunderlich represents banks, financial institutions, individuals and a variety of business entities, with his primary focus on real estate, Uniform Commercial Code, insurance, partnership, corporate, product liability, legal malpractice, personal injury, probate and, trust issues.
His experience includes the Missouri court system and federal court system including out-state Missouri, as well as in appellate matters, having argued before the Missouri Supreme Court, Missouri Courts of Appeal, and the Fifth and Eighth Circuit Courts of Appeals. He also serves as outside general counsel for nursing home operators in multiple states, assisting in resolving claims and handling insurance issues. In a notable case, he obtained a jury verdict award in the amount of $9.2 million plus attorneys' fees and costs.
Mr. Wunderlich presently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Washington Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bank of Franklin County. He was selected for inclusion in Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers® 2011-2017, and he is a former member of the Firm's Management Committee and Recruiting Committee. He is also a member of American Bar Association — Communications Law Committee, American Trial Lawyers Association, Missouri Trial Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, Franklin County Bar Association and Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
Mr. Wunderlich graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from Saint Louis University in 1976. Thereafter, he earned his Juris Doctor in 1979 from Saint Louis University School of Law, graduating cum laude.
