The American Law Society is proud to announce that Mr. Joshua A. Levy has been accepted as a new member of America's Top Lawyers

New York, NY, February 16, 2018 --(americanlawsociety.org)—

The American Law Society is proud to announce that Mr. Joshua A. Levy has been accepted as a new member of America's Top Lawyers. He obtained his license in 2001 and is a Partner at Cunningham Levy Muse LLP.

Joshua Levy is an expert in commercial litigation and white-collar matters, especially representing clients under investigation from US Justice Department, grand juries, Congress, government enforcement agencies and others.

For nearly two decades, Mr. Levy has practiced innovative law in complex matters to the satisfaction of his clients. His clients come from high levels of government, Fortune 500 companies and global entities facing US inquiries.

Mr. Levy did valuable work for US government, in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina and attacks on London Underground. He also served as counsel to U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer of New York and as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joan A. Lenard, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Among his clients is the government of Rwanda, where he co-leads an investigation related to 1994, genocide against Tutsi. He also represented clients in numerous politically sensitive investigations and managed to get them off without charges.

What we find very telling is the reason Joshua Levy became an attorney. Once, practicing law was the last thing he wanted for himself. But then, during the academic visit to a concentration camp in former East Germany, he saw the arrest of six neo-Nazis who threw rocks and buildings and threatened volunteers. That made him curious and interested in law.

As Editor-in-Chief of Michigan Journal of International Law at University of Michigan Law School, in 1999, he organized a symposium entitled “Post-Cold War International Security Threats: Terrorism, Drugs & Organized Crime”. He published an article entitled “Towards a Brighter Fourth Amendment: Privacy and Technological Change”, in which he analyzed eroding of privacy because of technological changes and how Fourth Amendment can be adapted to protect citizens.

Mr. Levy will use his membership in the American Law Society to gain wider recognition, and his plans for the future are simple – to help his clients. American Law Society Board of Directors scrupulously reviews attorney qualification and eligibility through a nomination and selection process. It is a privilege to have Mr. Joshua A. Levy join the American Law Society.

If you would like to contact Mr. Levy, you may reach him through his profile page at:
