The American Law Society is proud to announce Karen Kilgore has been accepted as a new member

New York, NY, February 5, 2018 --(americanlawsociety.org)—Karen Kilgore, a Partner at Cuddy & McCarthy LLP. A New Mexico-based law firm that offers a broad range of services. Mrs. Kilgore earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma School of Law during 1979.


The American Law Society is proud to announce Karen Kilgore has been accepted as a new member. 


Karen Kilgore began practicing law in since 1979.  She currently serves as a Partner for Cuddy & McCarthy LLP. While Ms. Kilgore practices in a number of areas, she specializes in employment law.  In fact, she has litigated more than 150 cases in state and federal courts, representing state agencies, counties, municipalities, officials, and plaintiffs in cases involving First, Fourth, and Fourteenth Amendment claims and employment claims.  The State of New Mexico has called upon her services to represent the New Mexico Department of Veteran Services, Public Employees’ Retirement Association, Children, Youth and Families Department and New Mexico Highlands University. 


Ms. Kilgore earned her B.A. in English from Tulane University.  She earned her Juris Doctor in 1979 from the University of Oklahoma School of Law, where she served as Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review from 1977-1979.  She served as a law clerk for the United States District Judge Ralph G. Thompson, and as a law clerk for United States District Judge David L. Russell, both in the Western District of Oklahoma.  Over the years, she has complemented her education by completing the training program in Theory and Practice of Mediation at UNM School of Law.  She is a member of the Dispute Resolution Section of the ABA.


Not only has she worked to augment her own educational qualifications, but she has also shared her knowledge with her community by participating as a judge in the New Mexico High School Mock Trial Competition for the past twenty years.


Karen's  history of dedication, excellence, and consistency gained the Attention and awareness of American Law Society Board, and the distinction “International Top Lawyer.”
