The American Law Society is Proud to Announce Charles Edward Stuckey has Been Accepted as a New Member

The American Law Society is honored to announce Charles Edward Stuckey been accepted as a new member. His experience, reputation, and history of excellence throughout his 37-year career have earned him the honor and recognition of being among “America’s Top Lawyers”  from the Board of the American Law Society.

He spent fifteen years in private practice litigating tort defense and insurance cases. He was a first chair lawyer in over a dozen jury trials in both state and federal court as well as countless bench trials. Chuck served as chief client contact for a number of insurance companies making staffing decisions and training associates.

He served as Paralegal Committee Chair for three years organizing and supervising paralegal use and training within the firm. He was also a Summer Associate Coordinator and supervised the summer law clerk program, also coordinating work assignments and evaluations. In addition, he served on the Recruiting Committee assisting with associate and clerk employment, on the Executive Committee and oversaw firm operations, budget and financial decisions, and also business planning. Finally, he was the Marketing Committee Chair for three years, coordinating all firm client development and marketing efforts.

Chuck then spent two years with CEELI, the Central and East European Law Initiative and acting as the general representative of legal reform assistance project in Krakow, Poland. He provided long-range planning and institution building advice to Polish lawyer and judges groups. He organized training workshops, provided fundraising advice and wrote grant applications to international funders. He helped coordinate lobbying and public education projects of the judges’ organization, prepared budgets and supervised staff for the Krakow office.

Chuck currently supervises class actions and extra-contractual litigation primarily in Washington and Florida. He also supervises extra-contractual litigation arising from subrogation activities and is involved in advising State Farm’s subrogation services. Chuck is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and received his law degree from the University of Illinois. He was admitted to the bars of Illinois and New Mexico in 1980. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State, New Mexico and McLean County Bar Associations. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute. Chuck obtained his CPCU designation in 2008.
