The American Law Society is proud to announce its latest member, Edward P. Angel, a Partner of Wilka, Welter & Ash LLC, located in Sioux. Falls, South Dakota. Mr. Angel has been named among “America's Top Lawyers” by the American Law Society, Board. A distinction consequently given in recognition of his contribution in the community, professional history of excellence and numerous honors and achievements.
A Southern California native, Mr. Angel enlisted in the United States Army shortly after graduating from high school. While in the Army, he was trained as an Intelligence Analyst, he received education in the impact of attention to details, further developing an expertise of analytical skills used in diverse situations.
Following an Honorable Discharge from the Army, Mr. Angel received a Bachelor of Science from California State University in 2007. He earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2009. Mr. Angel relocated to South Dakota following law school, and served a prosecutor from 2010 to 2016 in the Minnehaha County State Attorney Office, located in South Dakota.
Moreover, Mr. Angel’s experience also includes two years in private practice at a boutique law firm located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota prior to creating his own company. Presently Mr. Angel’s practice is primarily focused as a criminal defense attorney. He is licensed to practice in both Iowa and South Dakota.
