The American Law Society is proud to announce Dan C. Perry has been accepted as a new member. His reputation as a judge and attorney earned him the recognition of the Boards’ “America's Top Lawyer Distinction.

He currently serves as Mineral Manager (either as a Trustee, General Partner or LLC Manager) for five different family entities, with over 200,000 acres of minerals under his direct control. His has practiced oil and gas law in Texas and New Mexico for more than 30 years, focusing exclusively on representing mineral owners with their oil, gas and, uranium leases.

Dan C. Perry exclusively provides legal representation to owners of oil, gas & other minerals w/properties in Texas & New Mexico. He offers full mineral management services; including marketing of minerals for lease & sale; negotiation & closing of oil & gas leases & purchase & sale agreements; monitoring & enforcement of oil & gas lease covenants, auditing of Royalty Payments & Clearing Of Title Encumbrances.

 Mr. Perry has negotiated and drafted an excess of 500 oil and gas leases covering more than 1,000,000 acres, also has tracked the drilling and production of hundreds of oil and gas wells. Mr. Perry’s offers a full-service marketing of unleased minerals, negotiating and drafting of oil and gas leases and industry contracts, auditing royalty payments and overseeing the oil companies' performance of their lease covenants.

Dan’s experience and countless contacts in the oil and gas industry and landowner community, as well as access to the latest in technological advancements, such as drillinginfo.com, PLS (Petroleum Listing Service) and ACH (Automated Clearing House) direct deposit settlement of distributions to beneficiaries and partners combines a unique and thorough approach to his practice.

He is a member of numerous professional and industry organizations and has spoken as an expert to The Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, the American Association of Professional Landsmen and the Texas Bar Association.

He is peer review rated "AV - Preeminent" by Martindale-Hubbell and Lawyers.com, which is the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. An honors graduate of Princeton University in 1980 and SMU Law School in 1983, Perry has the intellectual capacity, entrepreneurial ingenuity, experience, and resources to market and administer mineral assets. Mr. Perry is not currently accepting new clients, however, he is happy to refer you to one of his colleagues.
