The American Law Society is proud to announce Jon D. Hoover has been accepted as a new member. Jon's history of dedication, excellence, and consistency earned attention from the Board and the prestigious “America’s Top Lawyer” Distinction.
Jon D. Hoover is the founder of Hoover Law, PLLC, a personal injury law firm located in Barboursville, West Virginia. Mr. Hoover has earned numerous awards for excellence in his field, including NAOPIA 2017 Nationally Ranked Top 10 Attorney Award "For Excellence in the Field of Personal Injury;” AIOFLA 2017 10 Best “Exceptional and Outstanding Client Service;” and NAFLA 2016 Nationally Ranked Top 10 Under 40 “For Excellence in the Field of Family Law.”
Mr. Hoover was inspired to pursue law during his adolescence from a circuit court judge with close ties to Mr. Hoovers family. He earned a B.A. in Political Science and History at Concord College in 1994. There, he received the Judith A. Herndon Legislative Scholar award and Frasure-Singleton Student Legislative Fellowship, both during 1992. He obtained his J.D. at Widener University School of Law in 1999.
Post law school, Mr. Hoover served as an associate attorney at Offutt, Fisher & Nord until 2006, becoming a Partner in 2007. He was also the sole practitioner at The Law Office of Jon D. Hoover from 2008-2010, before founding his current firm. In addition to his practice, Mr. Hoover is a member of the West Virginia Bar mentoring program and occasionally lectures at schools in his community.
Jon D. Hoover joined the American Law Society to network with his peers and experts in the legal profession. American Law Society's Board of Directors scrupulously reviews attorney qualification and eligibility through a nomination and selection process. It is a privilege and honor to have Jon D. Hoover join the American Law Society.
