About Olivia Lee Van Houten

After holding several positions as a counselor and teacher, throughout the late 1970's Ms. Van Houten decided to become a lawyer after her experiences counseling people. She "wanted to humanize the law." She earned both her J.D. in 1989 and B.A in 1977 from Emory University and also received a Master of Education from Georgia State University in 1980.
