Education
Education

University of Florida, 1983
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration; concentration in Computer and Information Science.

University of Baltimore School of Law, 1988
Graduated, having attended as a full-time night student while being employed full time as a Systems Analyst with the National Security Agency in Ft. Meade, Maryland.

Following law school, I was admitted to The Florida Bar in December, 1988, and began practice with the law firm of Rosenberg and Rothman, P.A. in Miami. For 3 years, under the leadership of an accomplished and respected attorney of over 25 years, my work was concentrated on commercial litigation, banking transactions, foreclosures, and workouts, along with a strong emphasis on probate and guardianships; wills and trusts.

Taking advantage of an opportunity to open my own law practice, I began Alan Bryce Grossman, P.A., in February 1992, continuing to practice in the same areas, and expanding into condominium lien foreclosures and association matters, tenant evictions, construction lien cases, and family law.

My practice continued to grow, with a steady influx of new clients and new cases, finding success in many matters, both of a simple nature and complex commercial litigation, including against Fortune 500 companies. One highlight of my career was the successful recovery of more than $300,000.00 through commercial litigation against a major international corporation on the eve of trial. Another success was found in New York, City, in another Fortune 500 company’s expansive conference room overlooking Central Park. There, with just myself and my client, we faced a battery of attorneys and successfully negotiated a settlement of payment to my client of six figures.

Other successes over the years occurred in cases both large and small, involving both jury and judge trials, including the successful defense of a hotly contested will fight involving my client’s right to receive her gift from an estate of well over $2,000,000.00.

Other matters of professional ability include creating wills and trusts plans of all sizes. In addition, over the years I have successfully administered many probate estates and guardianships throughout Florida, and prosecuted and defended trust and guardianship claims.

Recently, fellow attorneys have called on me to handle problem cases involving real estate, title and probate situations, where my knowledge is called upon to efficiently resolve the matter.

My strengths as an attorney are in taking special care to focus on the details of the matter at hand. I am highly skilled at locating legal arguments, no matter how intricate or complicated, to carry the day for the client.

Seeking to pass on my knowledge, I am also teaching business law as an adjunct professor at the Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University, in Davie, Florida.

I look forward to helping you navigate through the legal world to solve the issues you face.
