Simon Raftopoulos is Partner at Appleby, an offshore legal services provider, or as some know part of the offshore "Magic Circle" and member of the Corporate Finance & Private Equity teams. Simon represents his clients in diverse Corporate Finance & Private Equity Transactions and built a team that has penetrated PE formation & Transactional presence in Cayman.

Simon is a regular participant and speaker at various conferences & seminars, also providing commentary to the media regarding Cayman’s insurance industry. He regularly mentors younger attorneys and has made a positive impact in Cayman, offering Pro Bono Services & Charitable work at the Family Resource Center. He obtained his J.D from the University of Johannesburg in 1999, with the feeling that becoming a transnational finance attorney “suited him.”  

Simon’s experience, reputation & recommendations throughout his career continue to speaks volumes in the legal finance community & among his clients. Simon is listed in various publications such as Legal 500, Chambers Global, Chambers Caribbean & Who’s Who Legal: Corporate throughout his career.
